Description
*Two owners from new.
*All the electrics work (except digital clock!) - power windows, remote locking, power mirrors.
*Great AC.
*Clean inside, never had smokers in it.
*Regular oil changes every 10k. Timing belt and water pump every 100k.
*Just had the viscous coupling replaced, plus all the shocks and suspension rubbers by a Subaru specialist.
We had intended to run this car forever, but the clutch pedal is getting too heavy for my wife so now need an auto.
Paint condition: a little faded but intact. Usual stone chips on front. Shopping trolley ding in drivers door. Two other tiny dings in bonnet and L rear door.
Known defects: heater fan rattles intermittently. Gear stick linkage is getting a little sloppy (according to the Subaru specialist, not that I had noticed). Oil is weeping from the rocker cover gaskets. I was going to replace them at the next timing belt change.
Modifications: LED light bar (boy does that make a difference!).
This car has been insanely reliable and has never had to be towed. If it continues to be maintained there is no reason it should not do another 200k or more.
