Listing a car is free, takes a few minutes, and stays up until it sells.
What it costs
- Standard is free: no listing fee, no commission when it sells, and it never expires.
- Premium is optional: a one-time $9.99 for more visibility. Compare the two.
List your car
- Choose Sell My Car and enter your registration, then Find my car. We fill in the make, model and specifications. No rego handy? Choose Enter the details yourself. Your rego is not stored or shown.
- Check the details and add the kilometres.
- Create a free account, or sign in. Your listing is saved as a draft from here, so you can finish it later. With a new email account, open the link we email you before you carry on.
- Add photos, a price, your location and a description. Your phone number is optional. Everything saves as you go.
- Choose Publish listing, then pick Standard or Premium.
When it goes live
Every listing is checked before buyers see it. Your card in My listings shows Being checked, usually for a few minutes, then the listing goes live. If something needs changing, we will be in touch.
